Alana Kushnir will be presenting a lecture in Melbourne for the Diploma in Intellectual Property and Collections, which is jointly offered by the Institute of Art & Law and the Australasian Registrars Committee.

Alana will be speaking to her expertise in implementing Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) protocols in practice, and about the upcoming stand-alone ICIP legislation due to be released in Australia next year. The new legislation will be developed by a First Nations-led process, and will address the harm caused by fake art, merchandise and souvenirs.
