Art law and advisory firm Guest Work Agency (GWA) has advised client and renowned Melbourne-based artist Nadia Hernández on her recent collaboration with multi-brand beauty store MECCA.

ABOUT THE COLLABORATION

Hernández was selected to be MECCA’s Holiday artist for 2023 as part of MECCA's support for women in the arts. Hernández’s vibrant designs are featured on 12 different variations of MECCA’s limited-edition gift boxes and bags, as well as MECCA’s signature line collections, with packaging designs for 31 Mecca Cosmetica and MECCA MAXIMA products.

Inspired by Hernández’s poem, Of what we are, the campaign celebrates her notion of ‘a generous heart’, igniting kindness, connection and a reminder that generosity is the greatest expression of beauty.

Through their ongoing partnership with the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), MECCA also contributed to the NGV's acquisition of Hernández’s work which will be on display at The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia, Federation Square until January 2023.
