Guest Work Agency has advised celebrated Australian artist Lindy Lee on a significant public art project in Brisbane, Australia.

SIGNATURE ARTWORK AT QUEEN’S WHARF DEVELOPMENT, BRISBANE

Finalised in February 2022, we acted for Lee on the commissioning of a signature artwork by Destination Brisbane Consortium (DBC) to be installed as part of the $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf development in Lee’s hometown of Brisbane. The bronze oblong sculpture, titled ‘Being Swallowed by the Milky Way’, will be installed at the George Street Atrium entrance to the precinct.

Lindy spoke about the significance of the project in a Brisbane Development article: “I am currently working on some prestigious overseas commissions, but the sculpture I have designed for Queen’s Wharf Brisbane is an important project to me.”

“I am so proud to be included in this unique, creative project that will be such a sophisticated addition to my hometown.”
